Day 1 – A Summer Challenge from the Land of the Rising Sun

Japan—once praised as a global economic miracle.
Today, the glow has dimmed. With decades of economic stagnation, rising living costs, and declining wages, many feel the sun is slowly setting on Japan’s prosperity.

But that’s exactly why I’m starting this challenge.


Hello world, I’m Kissy.
Just an ordinary person living in Tokorozawa City, Saitama, Japan.
I have no fame, no fortune, and no special connections.
But I do have one thing: the desire to change my life.

Starting today, I’m taking on a 90-day summer challenge—from June to August—to try launching my own business.
This is not a scripted success story.
This is real.
I’ll show you the highs, the lows, the struggles, the breakthroughs—all of it.

Why?
Because I believe that showing the raw reality of starting from zero can be more inspiring than polished results.
If you’ve ever felt stuck, lost, or unsure about your future, maybe you’ll find a bit of courage in my journey.

I don’t know where this road will lead.
But I believe that with consistent effort and an open heart, something good will come out of it.
Even if I fail, I will have learned.
And that, in itself, is a kind of success.

Why I Chose YouTube as My Startup Path While Working 60 Hours a Week in Japan

Hello, world. Today, I woke up at 7:30 a.m.—90 minutes later than planned. I was so tired I didn’t even hear my alarm. The morning passed in a rush, and work was especially busy. Hello, world. I’ve finally decided on a niche for my YouTube channel:  money . But “money” is a vast and crowded category. There’s investing, entrepreneurship, business, saving techniques, financial mindset—and each subgenre has seasoned professionals already dominating it. So where does that leave someone like me? Here’s the conclusion I’ve reached: I’ll focus on  money trivia —small, fun, accessible facts and insights about money that spark curiosity.  Why Not Go Deep? Because I don’t need to. There’s no point in pretending to be an expert in a niche where certified professionals already rule. But what I  can  offer is  entry points —short, engaging content that grabs attention and starts a journey. If viewers want to dive deeper, there are already hundreds of channels doing just that.
